LAN-Cable tester RJ45 / RJ11

Procedure:

  • Power On: Switch on the power.
  • Mode Selection: S is slow automatic grade; M is manual.
  • Cable Insertion: Insert cables into both the main tester and the remote tester.
  • Sequence Check: The lights on the main tester will turn on sequentially from 1 to G.

Normal Operation:

  • Main Tester: Lights will display in sequence 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-G.
  • Remote Tester: Lights will display in sequence 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-G.

Supported Cable Types:

  • RJ45: 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-G.
  • RJ11: 1-2-3-4-5-6.

Abnormal Connections:

  • Open Circuit:
    • If a cable (e.g., NO.3) is open-circuited, the NO.3 lights on both the main tester and remote tester will not turn on.
    • If multiple cables are not connected, the corresponding lights will not turn on respectively.
  • Disordered Cables:
    • If two ends of a cable are disordered (e.g., NO.2 and NO.4), the display will show:
      • Main Tester: 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-G.
      • Remote Tester: 1-4-3-2-5-6-7-8-G.
  • Short Circuited Cables:
    • If two cables are short-circuited, neither of the corresponding lights will turn on in the remote tester, while the main tester remains unchanged.
