LAN-Cable tester RJ45 / RJ11
Procedure:
- Power On: Switch on the power.
- Mode Selection: S is slow automatic grade; M is manual.
- Cable Insertion: Insert cables into both the main tester and the remote tester.
- Sequence Check: The lights on the main tester will turn on sequentially from 1 to G.
Normal Operation:
- Main Tester: Lights will display in sequence 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-G.
- Remote Tester: Lights will display in sequence 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-G.
Supported Cable Types:
- RJ45: 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-G.
- RJ11: 1-2-3-4-5-6.
Abnormal Connections:
- Open Circuit:
- If a cable (e.g., NO.3) is open-circuited, the NO.3 lights on both the main tester and remote tester will not turn on.
- If multiple cables are not connected, the corresponding lights will not turn on respectively.
- Disordered Cables:
- If two ends of a cable are disordered (e.g., NO.2 and NO.4), the display will show:
- Main Tester: 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-G.
- Remote Tester: 1-4-3-2-5-6-7-8-G.
- If two ends of a cable are disordered (e.g., NO.2 and NO.4), the display will show:
- Short Circuited Cables:
- If two cables are short-circuited, neither of the corresponding lights will turn on in the remote tester, while the main tester remains unchanged.
